Oregon Chamber of Commerce Signs Month-to-Month Lease with City

OREGON — The City of Oregon has approved a month-to-month lease with the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce for office space at 418 West Washington Street. The lease sets a monthly rent of $250, which will be offset by the annual dues the City pays to the Chamber, and can be ended by either party with 30 days’ notice. The Chamber will manage daily operations and provide its own internet service, including a public Wi-Fi hotspot outside the building, while the City will handle utilities and major building maintenance. The agreement ensures the Chamber can continue hosting events such as the farmer’s market without changes to existing arrangements.
