Rockford Teen Wanted in Deadly Auburn Street Bridge Hit-and-Run

ROCKFORD — Police are searching for 19-year-old Jequayvieon Johnson of Rockford, who is charged with failure to report an accident involving death in connection with a January hit-and-run on the Auburn Street bridge. Investigators said 32-year-old Martavion Howard of Rockford was found lying in the roadway on Jan. 17 and later died at a local hospital. Police identified Johnson as a suspect and are asking anyone with information about his location to contact authorities.
