ROCKFORD – Work begins today on U.S. Route 20 in Winnebago County. Construction will take place on a bridge carrying eastbound Route 20 over Grove Creek. The work zone is located just east of the Stephenson County line. One lane will be open during the project, which is scheduled to be completed in October.
