OREGON — A 57-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested Sunday on a felony DUI charge after Ogle County deputies allegedly attempted to stop his van on Interstate 39 and he drove off the highway, struck a center median while turning onto East Illinois Route 72, and continued west in the eastbound lane before stopping at a home in the 15000 block. Deputies arrested Willie L. Taylor Jr. on felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol along with aggravated driving while license revoked, fleeing to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving while license revoked, and he was also cited for speeding, having no insurance, improper lane use, and failing to obey a stop sign. Taylor was taken to the Ogle County Jail and later released on a notice to appear.
