White Sox Bounce Back After a Big Loss and Beat Detroit 8-1

After losing 13-1 on Monday night to the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago White Sox picked up a 8-1 win on Tuesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The White Sox were led by Michael A. Taylor who had a 3-run home run and 4 RBI along with Austin Slater who had a 2-run double.

Shane Smith was your winning pitcher gving up no runs on 3 hits over 5 1/3 innings.

The White Sox had lost 7 out of their last 8 games prior to the win.

They had also lost a franchise-record 11 straight home games against Detroit.

Game 3 in the series is Wednesday night.
