OREGON – Tickets are now available for the Bark and Whine Ball, a fundraiser benefiting the Ogle County K9 Fund, scheduled for November 1st at River’s Edge Experience in Oregon. The event, running from 5 to 10 PM, will feature live music from the Vodka Boys, a dinner by Ralfie’s BBQ, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Merlin’s, and Cork & Tap, with a limited number of 250 tickets for sale. Funds raised will support ongoing costs for the county’s K9 program, including training, food, and veterinary care, as well as help fund a potential third K9 unit in the future.
Deputy Kyle White said working with his partner, Gator, is rewarding
“Everything from tracking to, so tracking is locating either a suspect that left a vehicle or left a crime scene and finding missing children or elderly people. That’s probably my personal favorite.”
Deputy Ali VanVickle hopes you can get a ticket and meet her and her partner, Saint.
“So we have a Facebook page called the Supporters of the Ogle County Canine Fund. All of our information is on there. Our poster for the event is on there. They could go to the Sheriff’s Office in Oregon to get tickets or Merlin’s and Cork and Tap have also agreed to sell tickets as well.”
