ROCKFORD – A teen is charged in a deadly crash earlier this year in Rockford. Police say 18-year-old Leslie Morena-Rivera, and a 14-year-old girl died following the January 16th accident in the 600 block of North Mulford Road. After an investigation, 18-year-old Jamari Sims was charged with reckless homicide and aggravated street racing. The teen turned himself in on Friday. He is no longer in custody.
