Suspect Arrested After Reported Domestic Disturbance and Gunfire in Oregon

OREGON — The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the area of Indian Heights Drive and Fawn Ridge Circle in Oregon at about 4 p.m. Thursday. While residents were on the phone with 911, gunshots were allegedly reported. Deputies responded to the residence and took a suspect into custody. Authorities said charges are pending and are expected to include aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of an explosive device with intent to commit a felony. The investigation remains ongoing.
