DIXON — A stolen vehicle reported by Rock Falls Police crashed on Wednesday after attempting to evade law enforcement, and the suspect remains at large. Around 7:43 p.m., a Lee County Deputy observed the vehicle traveling east on Rock Island Road, then turning onto Bloody Gulch Road, passing another vehicle at high speed and ignoring a stop sign at Pump Factory Road. Dixon Police also responded and attempted a brief pursuit before losing sight of the vehicle. The car was later found crashed near the intersection of Bloody Gulch Road and US Route 52 and was unoccupied.
