Sterling Man Charged After Search Warrant in ATV Theft Case

OREGON — Ogle County deputies said a search warrant executed Tuesday in the 1800 block of Locust Street in Sterling led to the arrest of a 20-year-old on a charge of theft over $500. Ciaren L. Topping was taken into custody following an investigation into a four wheeler reported stolen in rural Ogle County. Authorities said the warrant was carried out by the Ogle County Special Operations Unit and Investigations Division with assistance from Sterling Police Department. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail before being released on a notice to appear.
