SYCAMORE – The 68th annual Sycamore Steam Show will take place August 7–10 at the Taylor Marshall Farm in Sycamore, offering four days of live demonstrations, vintage machinery, and family activities. Hosted by the Northern Illinois Steam Power Club, the event features daily parades, a flea market, and working exhibits like threshing and steam-powered sawmills. A highlight this year is the 100th anniversary of the show’s Erie Type “A” Steam Shovel, one of only a few of its kind still operational. The show blends entertainment with education, giving visitors of all ages a chance to explore agricultural and industrial history in action.
