Shabbona Woman Charged With Hitting And Killing Woman In Peoria

PEORIA —  A 27-year-old Shabbona woman is accused of hitting and killing a woman in Peoria last month.  Savanna Shriber is charged with aggravated DUI. Police say Shriber hit 66-year-old Deana Viano with a vehicle near the intersection of Knoxville Avenue and Orchard Place on March 19th. Viano was pronounced dead at the scene. If convicted, she could face up to 14 years in prison.
