Rockton Pelican Fest Returns Saturday

ROCKTON – Rockton Pelican Fest will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Rockton, celebrating World Migratory Bird Day and the return of American white pelicans to the Rock River region. The free family event will feature wildlife programs, guided hikes at Nygren Wetland Preserve, children’s activities at Talcott Free Library, and presentations at Rockton Village Hall. Downtown activities include live music, bird themed contests, a pelican costume contest, and a bird card collection game with prizes.
