Rockford Hosts Illinois’ First Ironman 70.3

ROCKFORD —  The city of Rockford is celebrating a successful event over the weekend.  The first Ironman 70.3 race in Illinois was held yesterday in Rockford.  Thousands of athletes competed in the race, which consists of a one-point-two-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13-point-one-mile run.  Madison, Wisconsin native Cody Williams won the race.
