Rochelle Man Charged in Alleged Child Sexual Assault Case

ROCHELLE — A 29-year-old man from Rochelle was charged Monday with multiple felony offenses in an alleged child sexual assault case. The Rochelle Police Department said Randy Belmonte-Lopez faces two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under 13, Class X felonies, and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a family member under the age of 18, Class 2 felonies. He was released from custody pending future court proceedings in accordance with the Illinois SAFE-T Act.
