ROCHELLE – The Roberts Armory WWII Museum will be open to the public on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can view a variety of World War II artifacts, including tanks, trucks, cannons, and newspapers from 1945 that feature photos of local residents who served during the war. The museum will also showcase the Higgins Boat, weather permitting. The next scheduled opening will be August 16, 2025. The museum is located off Rt. 251 at Intermodal Drive, about 3 miles away, and can be reached by following signs marked with an Army truck
