Pritzker Taps Christian Mitchell As Running Mate

CHICAGO –  Governor Pritzker is tapping former deputy governor Christian Mitchell as his running mate in his bid for a third term.  The governor’s office announced that the Chicago native is Pritzker’s pick for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois.  Mitchell is a former state representative and served as Deputy Governor in Pritzker’s administration from 2019 to 2023.  He currently serves as the Vice President for Civic Engagement at the University of Chicago.
