Pritzker Breaks Ground on Illinois Quantum Park With PsiQuantum as Anchor Tenant

CHICAGO — Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Tuesday broke ground on the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park at Quantum Shore on Chicago’s South Side, where PsiQuantum will build the first utility-scale, error-corrected quantum computer in the United States. The state has invested $700 million in the project, which officials say will create thousands of jobs, generate billions in economic impact and position Illinois as a national leader in quantum technology.
