ROCKFORD — A 63-year-old man was killed Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle near East State Street and Dempster Avenue. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Traffic was temporarily shut down from Dempster to Easton Parkway during the investigation. His identity has yet to be released.
