SPRINGFIELD – Non-resident hunters can apply for deer archery combo permits online through June 30. After this date, permits will only be available at local license vendor locations. Youth hunters under 18 may purchase a resident archery permit at a reduced price. In addition, the first lottery for site-specific dove hunting permits is now open through June 30 and is available exclusively to Illinois residents. Youth hunters between the ages of 10 and 17 can also apply for a separate youth dove hunting lottery, which runs through July 26.
