MT MORRIS – Ogle County deputies say 33-year-old Thomas Paul allegedly struck a man with a vehicle Thursday at the Mt Morris Estates Mobile Home Park on West Illinois Route 64. The victim suffered suspected non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Katharine’s Hospital in Dixon by Mt Morris EMS. Paul was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and held at the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance. Deputies were assisted by Mt Morris Police and Mt Morris Fire/EMS.
