Mendota Mural Event To Highlight Art And Nature

MENDOTA — Mendota will host Painted Wings and Wild Things on June 14 to celebrate two new murals highlighting local bird species and area habitats. The event will include nature activities, art displays, and a photography exhibit in downtown Mendota. Organizers said the murals were funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the city. Mural dedications are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. downtown.
