ROCHELLE – Lineage, Inc. has announced plans to acquire a cold storage warehouse in Rochelle as part of a $247 million deal with Tyson Foods that includes three other sites across the U.S. The Rochelle facility is one of four totaling about 49 million cubic feet of storage and 160,000 pallet positions. The company plans to retain over 1,000 current Tyson employees. The acquisition is part of a larger $1 billion investment Lineage is making to expand its cold storage operations through acquisitions and new fully automated warehouse developments. Lineage already operates a facility in Rochelle on South Caron Road, a former Ryder Logistics operation they purchased in 2020. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025.
