ROCHELLE – Rochelle Township High School will present Leaving Iowa by Tim Clue and Spike Manton tonight through Saturday, October 3rd, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The comedy follows Don Browning as he returns to his hometown to place his father’s ashes in their final resting place while reflecting on family road trips from his childhood. The production has a local connection because Clue is a Rochelle Township High School graduate and recently returned to help with rehearsals.
Senior Kathryn Groves, who plays the mom, said some of the subject matter is very familiar, “I totally see my own parents in the mom and dad couple.”
Tickets are $5 at the door, with entry through Door 15 on the north side of the building.
