(Madison, IL) — Kyle Larson ended a 50-plus winless race drought in the NASCAR Cup Series after securing a victory in the Enjoy Illinois 300. The driver of the Number-5 car held off Alex Bowman at World Wide Technology Raceway.
Joey Logano, William Byron and Ross Chastain rounded out the top-five finishers. The Chase continues on Saturday in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race from Bristol Motor Speedway.
