Kickin’ It For A Cause Registration Now Open

ROCHELLE – Registration is now open for the 6th annual Kickin’ It For A Cause kickball tournament at VFW Park on May 9. Teams can sign up through the Rochelle Park District website. Tricia Herrera, executive director of the Rochelle Chamber, said, “The partnership between the Rochelle Chamber and the Rochelle Park District benefits both of those organizations. The link is currently live to sign up your team through the Park District website. They’re handling all the logistics of the tournament. If you want to sponsor, call the chamber. We handle all the sponsorship side of it.” She added, “It is a lot more competitive than I ever thought it would be. It is the childhood game from the playground with the rubber red ball. It’s all for fun and to benefit two good causes.”
