Iowa Man Facing Multiple Charges After Drugs Found During Traffic Stop on I-88


DEKALB — A 35-year-old Coralville, Iowa man was arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop on Interstate 88 in DeKalb County. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office say they discovered around nine pounds of purported cannabis after the driver, identified as Nathaniel Robert Lorenzo, allegedly fled on foot. Authorities say they stopped the vehicle on westbound I-88 near mile marker 83. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis, and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
