Illinois will play UConn in the semi-finals of the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament Saturday night in Indianapolis. Game time is set for 5:09pm.
The Illini got to the Final 4 for the first time since 2005 following a 71-59 win over Iowa on Saturday. It is their 6th trip to the Final 4.
UConn came from behind on Sunday and beat Duke 73-72 on a 3-point last second shot. It is the third time in 4 years the Huskies have been in the Final 4.
Illinois comes into the game at (28-8) while UConn is (33-5).
The Huskies beat the Illini on November 28th 74-61 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
