Illinois Economy Surpasses $1.2T In 2025

CHICAGO –  Illinois’ economy continues to grow.  Governor Pritzker announced new federal data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis shows Illinois’ gross domestic product has surpassed one-point-two-trillion-dollars last year.  That is up from nearly 900-billion-dollars when the governor took office in 2019.  Pritzker says the numbers reflect steady growth and resilience during ongoing national economic uncertainty driven by the Trump Administration.
