Sycamore Police and the DeKalb County Special Operations Team made an arrest early Tuesday morning in the 400 block of East Exchange Street in Sycamore. The arrest was in response to an ongoing narcotics investigation which began with multiple tips from Crime Stoppers. 36 year old Amanda McGlothin of Sycamore was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances, Class 4 Felony and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphanalia, Class A Misdemeanor. She was released per the SAFE-T Act. Also arrested was 50 year old Gabriel Enriquez of Sycamore, on an active, detainable Failure to Appear warrant out of DeKalb County for Driving Under the Influence. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
