2025 Bishop Hill Pottery and Art Festival Set for October 11

BISHOP HILL, Ill. — The 2025 Bishop Hill Pottery and Art Festival will return Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the north side of the village park. Hosted by J. Goard Pottery, the festival will feature pottery, Raku demonstrations, wheel throwing, textile and fiber arts, sales, and more, along with live music from the Light Girls.

Back by popular demand are the soup dinner hosted by the Galva Kiwanis Club and the ice cream social hosted by the Bishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association. Festivalgoers can purchase a handmade pottery bowl and have it filled with soup, with proceeds benefiting local organizations. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for soup dinner tickets.

The event is sponsored by J. Goard Pottery, Massie & Quick LLC, Subway, Kiwanis Club of Galva, Kelpie Fire, Ben Watkins Studio, Bishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association, and Special Kneads Bakery of Galva. Visitors are also invited to enjoy Bishop Hill’s specialty shops, museums, and restaurants. For more information, call Jeff Goard at 309-883-1035.
