AMBOY — Depot Days returns to downtown Amboy from August 21 to 24 with four days of food, music, a carnival, sidewalk sales, and family-friendly entertainment. Highlights include the Queen Contest, Saturday’s parade, a truck and tractor show, and Sunday’s 33rd annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show. The popular 50/50 raffle, which has awarded prizes nearing $240,000 in past years, will be drawn Sunday afternoon.
Bill Gerdes with Amboy Depot days says that Sunday will be don’t miss.
“The crowd’s usually big and it’s just a lot of fun. It just kind of adds to the anticipation,” he said.
“So if anybody wants to stick around, there’s tons of entertainment, tons of stuff to look at. And we’ll draw right there Sunday afternoon.”
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Full details are available at DepotDays.com.
