DEKALB — The DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation reported continued growth during its 2025 update to the City Council on Monday, highlighting major projects including a proposed warehouse development, a new data center, and a Marriott hotel under construction. Officials said the county’s Enterprise Zone expansion added more than 250 acres and supported eight new projects in 2025, including four in DeKalb, totaling over $8 million in investment. Since 2016, the program has generated more than $2.6 billion in total capital investment and continues to support industrial and commercial development across the region.
