DeKalb Council Approves Bridge Inspections and Insurance Coverage

DEKALB – The DeKalb City Council approved a $35,000 contract with Hampton, Lenzini & Renwick Engineering for inspections of ten city bridges and culverts under federal National Bridge Inspection Standards. Funding will come from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund through a supplemental resolution. The council also approved aviation and storage tank liability insurance with Crum-Halsted/One Digital for $35,811, covering the period from now through January 1, 2027.
