Deadline Approaching for Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame Nominations

SPRINGFIELD  – The Illinois Department on Aging is accepting nominations for the 2026 Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame through June 1. The program honors up to four Illinois residents age 65 and older each year for achievements in areas including community service, education, arts, sports, entertainment, and the workforce. Posthumous nominations are also accepted if eligibility requirements are met. More information is available through the Illinois Department on Aging.
