CRESTON – Creston Village President Tom Byro is reviewing proposals for LED digital signs from Correct Digital Displays in Sandwich, with sizes ranging from 3×6 to 4×8 feet and prices exceeding $40,000. The programmable signs could display changeable messages, but trustees are weighing placement and electric costs. Byro said the signs are energy-efficient and widely used in northern Illinois, but no decisions have been made on purchasing or installation.
