ROCHELLE – The first annual cornhole tournament will take place Saturday, August 16th at the Rochelle Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival, hosted by Cain Millwork and Golden Kiwanis. Teams of two can register for $50 per team, with a maximum of 50 teams competing in a double elimination format. Registration opens at 11 a.m. and the tournament begins at noon. Cash prizes include $600 for first place, $300 for second, and $100 for third. Remaining funds will support the Golden Kiwanis, who have served the Rochelle community for over 38 years. Pre-registration is available via email at accounting@cainmillwork or through Scoreholio, with guaranteed shirts for early sign-ups.
