KINGS — A 34-year-old Chicago woman was arrested after a single-vehicle crash early Monday in Kings. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 5 a.m. to the 400 block of 3rd Street, where a red Toyota sedan left the roadway and struck a tree on residential property. The driver, identified as Karalyn R. Gross, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, then released on a notice to appear in court. Rochelle Fire Department assisted at the scene.
