Champaign Co Implement Ban One-Year Ban On Large Data Centers

CHAMPAIGN —  Champaign County officials are implementing a one-year ban on developing large data centers.  The ban allows officials to put zoning regulations for such projects in place.  It also applies to projects that are ten-thousand square feet or larger.  The committee is expected to formalize the ban in April following a public hearing.
