OREGON – Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a 43-year-old Byron man accused of killing his ex wife and young son nearly 10 years ago. Prosecutors allege Duane Meyer started a fire at a home in the 2000 block of Silverthorn Avenue in October of 2016, which led to the deaths of his ex wife, 31-year-old Margaret Maggie Rosko Meyer, and their 3 year old son, Amos. Meyer was charged in 2019 with four counts of first degree murder, two counts of aggravated arson and one count of concealing a homicidal death.
