ROCHELLE — The Rock River Valley Blood Center is hosting a blood drive today, May 11, at the Rochelle VFW, 318 4th Avenue, until 5 p.m.
“Every appointment filled helps ensure that patients in local hospitals have access to blood when they need it most,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Appointments are encouraged at RRVBC.org and donors should bring a photo ID.
