Bill That Would Expel Students Who Sexually Student Advances In Springfield

SPRINGFIELD –  Illinois lawmakers are moving forward with a bill that would expel students who sexually assaulted another student.  The Illinois Senate Criminal Law Committee unanimously approved a measure that would require any student who sexually assaults a peer to be expelled for at least one year.  The proposal now heads to the Senate Education Committee for further consideration.
