The Chicago Bears set a franchise record for points in an opening game on Sunday as they beat the Carolina Panthers 59-37.
The game was also the highest scoring season opener in NFL history.
Quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 65 yards and 2 TD’s.
D’Andre Swift also rushed for 124 yards and 3 touchdowns and Kyle Monangai had 100 yards on the ground which included a 61-yard touchdown.
The Bears play at home next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
