Accessible Field Day Scheduled at Levings Park in Rockford

ROCKFORD — RAMP, Friends of Jon, and the Rockford Park District will host a free accessible field day for individuals with disabilities and their families on September 20 at Levings Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include a ten-person canoe, a Birds of Prey show, food trucks, and a resource fair. The event honors Jon Wrenn, whose brain injury inspired Friends of Jon, and promotes inclusion and adaptive recreation through the Park District’s Therapeutic Recreation program and RAMP.
