Polo Town & Country Days Begins Today With Four Days of Events

POLO — Polo Town & Country Days 2026 begins today as the community celebrates four days of activities tied to America’s 250th anniversary. The festival opens Thursday evening with a free swim and pool games at the Polo Community Pool followed by a dusk showing of “Zootopia 2.” Friday events in downtown Polo include food vendors, merchandise bingo, a petting zoo, wood carving by local artist Marcel Hutchinson, and professional wrestling from ZOWA. The evening will also feature live music from the 3 on the Tree Band in the beer garden. Saturday activities include the Polo 5K Run/Walk, a volleyball tournament, kids water fights, a cornhole tournament, a spaghetti eating contest, the Little Miss and Mister pageant, Anything on Wheels races, and live acoustic music by Mike and Bonnie. The festival wraps up Sunday with the Grande Parade, a wood carving auction, and a 250th anniversary celebration at the Polo football field featuring free ice cream and fireworks at dusk.
