ROCHELLE – The Cypress House in Rochelle is hosting its seasonal farmers markets through October, featuring local vendors, fresh produce, artisan goods, and community activities. “Market on the Lawn” takes place Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through August at 718 10th Ave., offering items like baked goods, honey, flowers, and specialty drinks.
Emily Millard with The Cypress House said the last Saturday of the month events are special.
“The thing that is unique about those markets is all of our vendors’ items are either handmade or homegrown and we do close the street down. We have live music, we have food trucks,” she said. “It’s a great community event.”
The larger Farmer’s Market closes the street on the last Saturday of each month from June to October, featuring around 30 vendors. Visitors can learn more through the Cypress House Facebook page or by visiting the store.
