Oregon Moves Candlelight Walk to December 6 After Winter Storm

OREGON — Oregon has moved its 39th Annual Candlelight Walk to Saturday, December 6th, after a winter storm on Saturday, with the event set to run from 3 to 8 p.m. The longtime community celebration, first started by merchants at Conover Square Mall, now spans the entire downtown with family activities, local entertainment, Candy Cane Lane treats, a Holiday Gift Fair, Sip and Shop at The Rivers Edge, and a children’s winter carnival at the United Methodist Church. Classic features such as carriage rides, cocoa huts, and the Christmas tree lighting will return, and visitors can register at participating Red Bow merchants for prize drawings.
