Contest Rules
- No purchase is necessary to win.
- Contestants must live within a 150-mile radius of Rochelle, Illinois.
- WRHL FM and WYOT FM contests are open only to listeners who have not won a prize or prizes valued at $100 or more from WRHL/WYOT in the last 30 days, and who have not won a prize or prizes valued at more than $1000 from WRHL/WYOT in the last 12 months.
- No more than one qualifier per household will be allowed for the duration of this contest.
- A “household” consists of individuals residing at the same address.
- Anyone who wins tickets but does not claim or pick them up is not eligible to win again for 6 months.
- Anyone caught selling tickets they have won is not eligible to win again for 12 months.
- Each qualifier must be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license or other official photo identification in his or her name at the time of winning any prize, and must present the same to WRHL/WYOT prior to claiming any prize.
- Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with any prizes won in this or any other WRHL/WYOT contest.
- WRHL/WYOT will provide the Grand Prize Winner with a W-4 form (when applicable) to be completed prior to receiving any prize valued at $500 or more.
- WRHL/WYOT will provide winners of prizes (other than the Grand Prize) in this or any other contest valued at $600 (individually or collectively) or more with 1099 forms for income tax purposes.
- Employees and immediate families of Rochelle Broadcasting Company and its affiliates, and advertisers are ineligible to participate.
- Employees of other radio/television broadcasting companies/activities in the WRHL/WYOT listening area are not eligible to play or win in a contest.
- WRHL/WYOT is not responsible for any mechanical issues, telephone problems, or loss of service to the contest number due to overload, busy signals, or any other reason that may prevent an individual from completing a call to the WRHL/WYOT contest/studio line.
- All qualifiers are solely responsible for arranging transportation to and from the Grand Prize Event (when applicable).
- By accepting a prize, a contestant represents that they did not use any proprietary company “choke” lines or numbers and that they personally made the winning call.
- No person shall be entitled to any prize if it is discovered that he or she violated the contest rules in any manner.
- WRHL/WYOT has the sole right to initiate and end contest play.
- The winning caller is always determined by the on-air announcer.
- Calls will be accepted on the WRHL/WYOT contest/studio lines only.
- Calls to other phone numbers at the radio station are not eligible.
- WRHL/WYOT reserves the right to substitute the grand prize (when applicable) for another grand prize of similar and/or equal value.
- Contest can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.
- WRHL/WYOT and participating clients are excluded from any legal action resulting from any injury that may occur during the contest and/or use of prizes.

CONTEST-SPECIFIC RULES FOR THE NATIONAL SPRING 2026 CASH CONTEST
The following rules shall govern the Spring 2026 Cash Contest (“the Promotion” or “Contest”). These contest-specific rules should be read in conjunction with 102.3 The Coyote’s (“the Station”) General Contest Rules, which are applicable to all contests conducted by 102.3 The Coyote. The Spring 2026 Cash Contest may also be called by various other names on the radio stations included in Exhibit A, attached hereto.

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Promotional Period
The Promotion begins on or around Monday, April 6, 2026 and shall continue for six weeks, ending on Friday, May 15, 2026 (the “Promotional Period”), excluding weekends and federal holidays.
Entry Deadline
The deadline to submit entries for each prize drawing is 11:59 PM local time as set forth in Section 4 below.
Eligibility
The National Spring 2026 Cash Contest is open to U.S. residents, eighteen (18) years of age or older, except for the following individuals:
- Employees or families of employees of Participating Stations
- IBA officers and directors, volunteers, or vendors
- Envisionwise or vendors thereof
- Advertising sponsors of the contest in local markets listed in Exhibit B
(collectively, the “Sponsors”).
This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This Promotion is void outside the United States and where prohibited.
Listeners are eligible to win one $1,000 daily prize (“$1000 Daily Prize”) only once per contest. Any participant who has won a prize during the Promotional Period may be ineligible to receive an additional prize based on local station rules.
Participants must sign all required contest release and waiver forms before accepting a prize.
Entrants must provide truthful information. The Station reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry that is false, fraudulent, or does not meet eligibility requirements.
Entry Method
To participate, a participant must submit the required personal information and the Station’s on-air “keyword” by 11:59 PM local time on the same day the keyword is announced.
- Four different keywords will be announced daily at random times
- Each keyword allows one entry
- Maximum of four entries per day, each using a different keyword
- Duplicate keyword submissions may be rejected
Keywords must be entered exactly as spelled on air. Incorrect spelling may result in disqualification.
Submission Methods
Text Message Entry:
- Text keyword to 508-777-1000 or designated number
- Must be submitted same day before 11:59 PM
- Message/data rates may apply
- Consent to receive promotional messages is required
- Opt-out by replying “STOP”
Website Entry:
- Submit keyword and required information via the Station’s website
- Must be submitted same day before 11:59 PM
Required Information
Participants must provide:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Address, city, state, ZIP
- Age verification
Incomplete submissions may be rejected.
Participants may not:
- Use multiple phone numbers or emails
- Share contact info between participants
- Use automated entry methods
Only entries received by 11:59 PM local time will be eligible. The Promotion administrator’s system is the official timekeeper.
Prizes and Odds
- One (1) $1,000 prize awarded daily (Monday–Friday)
- Total of 30 prizes across six weeks
- First drawing: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries nationwide.
Each participant may win only one $1,000 prize during the contest.
Winner Selection and Notification
- Winners are randomly selected from the prior day’s entries
- Selection begins April 7, 2026
Contact Process
- Phone call between approximately 12 PM – 2 PM Eastern Time
- Up to three call attempts within five minutes
- No voicemail will be left
- Caller ID may show unknown or an Indiana (260) number
If unreachable:
- Up to four alternate winners selected
- Process repeats with additional pools if needed
Calls may be recorded for broadcast.
Prize Claim
- Winner information collected at time of contact
- Prize issued through local station
- Must be claimed within 60 days
- Must present valid government-issued ID
- Must match submitted information
Failure to provide accurate information may result in forfeiture.
General Terms
- Winners are responsible for all taxes
- IRS Form W-9 required for prizes over $600
- Participation grants permission for use of name, likeness, and voice for promotional purposes
No prize transfers permitted.
Sponsors reserve the right to:
- Disqualify participants
- Modify, suspend, or cancel the contest
- Withhold prizes in cases of suspected fraud
Liability Release
Participants agree to release and hold harmless:
- The Station
- IBA
- Sponsors
- Affiliates and representatives
from any liability related to participation or prize use.
