ROCKFORD – A Freeport man is going to prison for illegally possessing firearms during a lengthy standoff with law enforcement. Grady Clark was sentenced to more than 15-years after pleading guilty earlier this year. Prosecutors say Clark unlawfully restrained an individual with a firearm in his apartment in September 2024. The victim fled before Clark barricaded himself in the apartment. During the standoff, Clark repeatedly discharged a firearm and threw Molotov cocktails out a window. He eventually surrendered before a rifle and handgun were found inside his apartment.
