ASHTON – Ashton’s Fall Festival returns Sunday, Sept. 27, with family activities planned along Main Street from noon to 4 p.m. The free event will include games, food, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, hayrack rides, face painting, crafts, a photo booth, obstacle courses and more than 26 vendors. Denise Coffman, chairman of the Ashton Parks Committee, said the festival will also feature a pedal tractor pull for children, sponsored by Maple Acre Farms.
“They bring their own equipment and they have the little tractor and the kids go as far as they can, just like a real tractor pull, And they get little trophies,” Coffman said.
Food options will include a brat or hot dog meal from the Ashton Business Boosters, along with several food vendors and local businesses. Information about the festival is available on the Ashton Village Park Events Facebook page.
